Redhill

Reigate's larger neighbour to the east — a Victorian railway town and transport hub with the Belfry Shopping Centre.

Redhill is Reigate's larger neighbour to the east, a Victorian railway town that grew up around the junction where the London to Brighton and the North Downs lines meet. The two towns sit within the same borough — Reigate & Banstead — and together form the main urban area of the district.

## Town Centre

Redhill town centre is focused on the Belfry Shopping Centre and the surrounding streets, with a mix of national retailers, supermarkets and services. The town has been the subject of significant regeneration, including new public spaces around the station and the Marketfield Way development.

## Transport Hub

Redhill station is a key interchange, with fast and frequent services to London (Victoria, London Bridge and Thameslink), Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Guildford and Tonbridge. Its road links via the A23, A25 and the nearby M23 and M25 make it one of the best-connected towns in Surrey.

## Redhill and Reigate

Although often spoken of together, Reigate and Redhill each keep their own character — Reigate the older market town, Redhill the Victorian railway town and commercial centre.
